• Account details — your email or phone number, date of birth (to confirm you are 18+), and the display name and pronouns you choose. You never have to use your legal name.
• Profile content — photos, bio, interests, and identity details you choose to add. You control what is public.
• Usage data — basic app activity, device type, and diagnostics to keep the app working and safe.
• Location — only if you enable it, and only to show nearby people and local circles. You can turn it off anytime.

2. How we use your information

• To create your profile and help you match, chat, and discover community.
• To keep Vibgyor safe — detecting abuse, spam, and reviewing reports.
• To send updates you asked for (you can unsubscribe anytime).

We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

3. How we protect you

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and privacy-by-default settings. We never publicly expose your identity, and blocking is always quiet — the other person is not notified.

4. Protection for closeted & questioning users

We know discretion can be a matter of safety. You can control who sees your profile, use a non-identifying display name, and hide your presence. We minimise notifications that could out you.
