Safety is not a feature we bolted on — it shaped how Vibgyor was built. Here is exactly how we protect you and what to do if something goes wrong.

Reporting process

Tap the … menu on any profile, chat, or post and choose Report. Tell us what happened. Reports are confidential — the other person is never told who reported them.

Blocking process

Tap Block on any profile or chat. Blocking is quiet and immediate — the person is not notified, cannot message you, and disappears from your experience.

Harassment policy

Harassment, hate speech, threats, and outing are strictly prohibited under our Community Guidelines. We act on violations with warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, or permanent bans.

Moderation

We combine community reporting with active human review. Reports involving safety are prioritised. We do not rely on automation alone for serious decisions.

Privacy for closeted users

Visibility controls, non-identifying names, quiet blocking, and minimal notifications are all designed to protect users who are not out. Your safety and discretion come first.

18+ only

Vibgyor is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

Response times

We aim to review safety reports within 24–48 hours, and urgent safety issues as fast as we can. Email [email protected] for anything urgent.
